Terms of Service

This Site is informational. It does not have a shopping cart or checkout of its own. Every product shown or referenced here is sold exclusively through our shop on Etsy.com (the "Etsy Shop"). Clicking "Shop on Etsy" or "Visit the Etsy Shop" takes you to Etsy's platform, where your purchase is governed by Etsy's Terms of Use, Etsy's Payments Terms of Service, and the shop policies we publish on our Etsy Shop page, in addition to these Terms.

Every piece is made to order through a print-on-demand manufacturing partner rather than mass-produced or held in inventory ahead of time. Production begins shortly after an order is placed, which is why order changes and cancellations are only available for a short window after purchase — currently one hour, as published on our Etsy Shop policies page, which controls if it is ever updated after this page.

Orders are produced and shipped from whichever partner facility is closest to the delivery address, to reduce shipping time and environmental impact. This means the specific fulfillment partner and shipping origin may vary by order.

Because each piece is made to order, we are unable to accept exchanges for sizing errors. Please review the size guide provided on each Etsy listing and compare it to a favorite garment before ordering.

We make every effort to represent colors, designs, and materials accurately, but printed colors and garment shades may vary slightly from what you see on screen, and sizing may be approximate. This is standard for print-on-demand manufacturing and is not, on its own, considered a defect.

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives materially defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us at hello@theveritasethos.com or message our Etsy Shop within 30 days of delivery with your order details and photos of the issue. Eligible claims will be resolved, at our discretion, by replacement or refund, consistent with the remedies our fulfillment partner makes available to us.

This policy does not cover buyer's remorse, sizing exchanges, damage caused by improper care or use after delivery, or unauthorized alterations to a product.

To preserve the print and fabric, we generally recommend machine washing cold, inside out, with similar colors; air drying when possible; and never ironing directly over a printed design. Always follow the specific care label on your garment, which controls if it differs from this general guidance.

We occasionally take on requests for custom, made-to-order designs. Any custom design must still align with the principles and convictions behind The Veritas Ethos, and we reserve the right to decline a custom request at our discretion.

All designs, graphics, text, the name "The Veritas Ethos," and our logos are the property of Kalince Holding LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Purchasing a product does not transfer any ownership of the underlying design — it grants you the right to own and use that physical item.

You agree not to use this Site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, or scrape or copy its content without our prior written consent.

This Site links to third-party platforms, including Etsy, Instagram, and Facebook, which we do not control. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, not these Terms.

THIS SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ANY WARRANTY ON A PRODUCT PURCHASED THROUGH OUR ETSY SHOP IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED IN SECTION 4 ABOVE AND TO WHAT OUR FULFILLMENT PARTNER MAKES AVAILABLE TO US.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KALINCE HOLDING LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR A PRODUCT PURCHASED THROUGH OUR ETSY SHOP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalince Holding LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the shop policies published on our Etsy Shop page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kalince Holding LLC regarding the Site.
